Removing the rear seat

Has anyone done any customizing involving removal of the rear seat? I like the idea of maintaining a divider between the passenger area and the "trunk" portion of the car, but I'm 6'4" so my front seats are all the way back, partially reclined and my rear seats never get used.<P>I was contemplating turning it into a large package shelf or sub space, maybe by raising the pivot point of the divider. I'd like to still be able to fold/remove the divider for large items. One thought that came to mind was replacing the folding portion with a retracting fabric cover like some of the Subaru wagons use to cover the rear space. That would be fairly easy, but I want the new look to have the illusion that it could have been a factory setup.<P>Does anyone have ideas or pictures of something similar?<P>Thanks,<BR>Brian
