New M3 Mirrors to MX-3 Transplant

Has anybody put BMW M3 euro style mirrors on their MX-3?<BR>Is it possible?<BR>Anybody with an MX-3 work for BMW and can get some to testfit?<BR>This may become a summer project if it is viable.<P>Thoughts, comments, ideas....

i've looked at it and it wouldn't look very good. the MX-3 mirrors hang down quite a bit while the M3 mirrors are entirely contained in the A-pillar area. there's too much exposed metal to really do it, i think. its not very hard to take the mirror off to look for yourself. if you want to try it, Pep Boys now stocks replacemtn M3 mirrors that are a lot cheaper than genuine BMW ones.
