Cleaning up rims??????????????

Post by macnwigs »

I know this post went around before, but I can't find it and my car is getting out of the bodyshop Saturday. I want to know what the best way is to clean up my aluminum alloy rims...They're abit weathered, but I can't afford new ones right now. Anyone help????????

When you say sand to a polish...How would you do that??? I was thinking a 4-1/2 grinder with maybe some soft aluminum blending flap discs, but I don't want to damage my rims.....
