Needs a new rear bumper, minor body work, paint on hood and roof. Leather seats and interior in good shape, engine running strong, cold ac, full 2.5 magna flow exhaust set up, ractive air filter, and yellow head lights(ewww). Bought for 1,200 buckaroos, originially bought for parts to fix up my other one since some recent activities have put a few major blockades in my road to a klze and a body kit. Oh, by the way, in my black GS me and my friends were shot at. 4 bullets through the passenger door, 2 in the panel right under the door, and 1 through the window. I've also had a messed up hood and bumper from my drunken escapade a few months ago(dont drive drunk!!!). I was forced to buy the SE now since the engine in my other GS just went kaput. Had major oiling problems sine i got it, and finally it went to crap. Current plans: Pull KLZE from friends Probe, rebuild, and put into the black GS. Put SE interior parts in the GS, put SE hood onto GS, full body kit, and swap AC system from SE into GS(came without AC). Any thoughts? Anyone want any parts from a K8??

Yeah I am with them, dont distroy the SE. You are much better off with it over your GS. Also, in your friends probe, does he have a KL-DE, which is the stock engine, or a KL-ZE which is j-spec?

I do know what i'm talking about. I knew that only 2k of them were made. The car has some damage that may not be repairable, that is why I may part it out. The girl that had it was rear ended pretty hard and the whole rear ende kind of tweaked down about an inch or so. It drives just fine though. I'm going to try to pull the dents and fill them in. If I am successful, then i will keep it and fix it up, if not, then its officially my parts car. I forgot to mention it came with 16's too. Not too sure what kind but they are pretty cool looking. Leather seats are in good shape, interior is in good shape, and the engine has 161k miles on it. Surprisingly the engine doesnt smoke at all, doesnt tick, and starts up immediately. I'm very happy with my purchase, and whatever i decide to do im sure it will be worth it. Mitmaks, i know about your hood. I've tried to get ahold of you before but you never reply. I thinmk i read somewhere that you live in cali? What part?? Im in arizona, about a 5 hour drive to SD.

You didnt mention it was rear ended. That changes the whole story. If everything is off then no I wouldnt drive it either and I would swap everything. But if it is fixable, within reason, then I would go with the SE.

You are right, i didnt say it was rear ended but i hinted at it. Either way, you dont say "you dont know what you are talking about". I'm definitely hoping that i can fix it, but we shall see. Either one i choose to keep, its going to be KLZE powered. Im currently in the process of rebuilding that sucka. Cannot wait 'til its finished.
