Recently my alternator had gone out (171k miles, 92 GS) and I had replaced it with a 90 amp alternator. After replacement, the ABS light is constantly on, and the Check Engine light flashes on and off. The CEL turns on mainly when I am accelerating, but even that is inconsistent.
Does anyody know whether the stock alternator is 70 amp or 90 amp?
Has anybody ever encountered a similar problem?
Thanks in advance for any input.

Re: Alternator replaced now ABS and CEL flashes
Stock V6 alternator is 90 amps. If you keep getting CEL, try resetting the ECU (search for procedure).

I'm replacing my altenator on Saturday... I'll look out for similar problems.
