Hold Button Flashing

I have a 93 MX3 Auto. The light to the hold button is constantly flashing. I took the car to the mechanics but they dunno what the problem is. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks alot.

By the way, I just had my transmission rebuilt.
