mazda makes them as far as I know.

they are located on top of the cylinder heads, you have to remove the valve covers and the intake manifold to access the cams.

I dont know the duration or lift but if you use the search feature you could probably find out.

The kl and kl-ze dont have much of a difference. What makes the ZE so much more powerfull?
where can you buy high performance CAMs for the Mx3?

More compression and higher octane fuel.

Interprep makes high performance cams for the KL. I'm sure you can use them on the K8. Also, I've heard the KF-ZE have the most agressive cams of all the factory cam options, but good luck finding a set.

There's a guy on ProbeTalk named Mike Seli, he sells cams for the KL.
I bought them and I will install them in a week or two!

better cams, better cylinder heads, better intake manifold, higher comperssion pistons, different ECU programing that is programmed with more spark advance to take advantage of all the better parts and to be used with 94 octain (= to 98 in japan)fuel.

The engine has a knock sensor if you use 87 or 91 the ECU can tell aand will produce less power, if you use 94-97 the computer will supply more spark advance and you will get more power.

1.8T.. :confused2: is there an add on turbo as well, or is that a j-spec motor? And what's the cams internet site again?

How many 6 cylinder motors were made to fit MX3.

Crap! For that much, you could buy a KF-ZE and pay someone to install it. :freak:
