Oil under spark plugs

do you know what im talking about?.. just sitting on the cylender heads, right underneathe the spark lugs?. Why, ? is it bad?

just doin a little sprang claannin'

I had the same problem, it's very common on higher mileage engines. Cost me about $225cdn after taxes to have the 'Valve Cover Gaskets' replaced at my local mazda dealership.

Yes this is the problem, only I fixed it for around $30 in my back yard.

is it hard to do, just take off each valve cover and plop in a new gasket?

Well, depends what leaking, it could be that simple or it could be an idividual valve is leaking. That happened to me in a civic. One damn cylinder ruined the entire car(to fix it would be more effort then to buy a new piece of ****).

The front one is easy, but the rear one is under the intake manifold.....so the hard part is uninstalling and reinstalling your intake manifold.
