RPM cut with KF-ZE at 5500rpm

Post by Manach »

I don't think that is normal..

Cuttin at 5500rpm..

I thought maybe we got an Automatic ECU, and we need to change a setting with the ECU to stop that RPM cut ?

Or change back to the K8 ECU ?

Informations on the Engine Swap

KF-ZE Long block
KF01 ECU
All other parts are from the K8 engine..

That RPM cut was discover by accident I must say.. as we were trying to stay in the break-in period..

But we did try to test it in 1-2-3-4.. no 5..

Thanks for any help.. we are already at 400kms done on the engine.. ;)

hmmm intresting, i wouldnt think that the auto's would stop @ 5000 rpms, cause you can down shift into 1,2,3 in most cars and still redline before you put into drive, i would try it with the k8 ecu and see if it still does it, im also curious about the ecu, never herd of the kf01, i ordered the kf15 ecu from Lazzyie so it should work properly.

I'll try that tonight or tomorow..

the engine was running smoother with the K8 ECU than the KF one..

With the KF ECU it was stalling from time to time..
