how do you get it out of the dash?

I hear you have to unplug it from the tranny first to give you enough slack to pull the cluster out.

Thats what I thought take out all the screws then with yer arm reach behind the steering column and find the cable attached to the back of your cluster. There is a pin holding it on just push it down and pull it right off.

thanks guys. hopefully i can get it out soon so i can have the plastic around my steering column put back on right (its flopping around now) <p>my cable was taped together :\ how ghetto is my car?
