Header Gasket

Post by Stevie D »

I have a tick coming from my headers on y 2.5L and NEED to get rid of it. I would think all i need is the stock gasket since it bolts right to the stock block but i am not 100% sure about it. I would love to do it myself also and it doesnt seem like the hardest thing to do... but all i need to know is if i need to find a aftermarket gasket or just roll with a stock one. Thanks alot

he is talking about the exhaust manifold i'm guessing.<p>It would be a undertaking, but not too hard. You'll have to remove the downpipes and then unbolt the exhaust manifold from the heads of the car. scrape off the old gasket material and dirt build-up and then put the new ones on.
