I have a quetion, When you replace the water pump do you have to take out the timing belt? Is there other way to do with out taking out the timing belt?<p>

it would be alot easier to take off the tim. belt, and than take off the pump. I tried to do with the belt on, and couldn't get it off... the belt is in the way

There is no way you can replace the pump with the timing belt on.
