Need help guys! Starter issues I think

Post by pcperez83 »

Hey guys i've been having this wierd problems with my mx lately. Sometime when i go to start it, i get power but the starter doesn't move. But if I wait a few minutes then it does, it's starting to do it more and more and i'm scared i'm gonna get stranded somewhere soon. Does this sound like a failing starter? or is it something else? any help would be good thanks.

lay ur tongue across both terminals see if its charged
hehe
nah just get a fluke metre that will tell you
alternativly if you have a friend just use his battery for a test and see if that fixes it when you start it up.

I would first check the battery terminals for built up corrosion. clean em up good then try starting. If its the same then test that battery.
If thats good, test the the starter.
