Theres an easier way, get the engine number and call mazda and find out.... engine # sits on the rear of the engine when looking at that photo.<p>and probably need a flashlight and a rag to see it properly.

Mazdaspeed swaybars, Eibach springs, Cusco Adj. Strut tops, Body kit, Altezza lights, Short shifter, Crossdrilled rotors and Calipers from AP racing, Braided brake lines, Braided clutch line, Mazdaspeed steering wheel, Mazdaspeed Leather shift knob,
Both the KLDE and ZE (most 2.5L) have the spark plug wires running that way... cuz its got longer wires then the 1.8. That does not determine the engine... check the engine stamp.. it should say KL31 if its a ZE... KL01, KL02 if its a DE... So like davidosk024 said...check # and call Mazda to double check if u want.

thats 1 95 Millenia, it came with ZE heads u'd have to read them to be sure. I havent physically seen them myself, but Ive been told by a few people already the same thing. Notice the curved neck and the square runners? Thats a KLZE Intake Manifold. Basiclly, that motor is a ZE minus the cams.
My best guess would say that this motor has the DE pistons in it with ZE heads (KL31) if it is a 95 chances are pretty good, cams are most likely the DE (KL01) and obviously its the MS8 intake manifold, some call it a ZE intake but I only referred to the square runner straight neck intake as the true ZE manifold.
