Salvage MX3s

Post by treckrtj »

I bought a 93 v6 GS over this past summer. The guy that had it before me had no idea the potential that his 5-speed car had. (moron) He got hit on two seperate occasions in each front corner. His insurance company gave him the money to take it in and get it fixed perfectly, but Mr. Genious decided to save some cash and do it himself. Well, needless to say, he cut corners. LOTS of corners. There are little things broken, like mounts, bent bumper brackets, broken bolts, all that good stuff. It would cost a ton to take it to the dealer. What I need is a car in a salvage yard that I can strip down. Anyone know where or how to find a junker? I live in Mid-Michigan (Saginaw) and I would be willing to drive great distances to find a car to pull some parts off of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have even heard rumors of internet salvage databases, but I can't find any. Thanks again!

Here's a couple of good online sources, but they won't be as cheap as a local junkyard.<BR> <A HREF="http://www.mazdarecycling.com/" TARGET=_blank>http://www.mazdarecycling.com/</A> <BR> <A HREF="http://www.mazmart.com/about.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.mazmart.com/about.html</A>
