Need opinions quickly!

Hi all,<P>Here is my situation (a short version):<P>I bought a MX-3 GS from a Mazda dealer during the summer. I had some troubles with the engine and they finally replaced the engine. But the engine they have put in my car, even though it run smoothly burns a ton of oil (1 liter per 1200km). After, 3 month of arguing the offered my two solutions:<P>1- They either send back the car to the junkyard where they bought the engine from and get it replace there.<P>2- The give me 750$CAN cash.<P>What do you think? How much would it cost to get the engine rebuild?<P>Thanks!<BR>Etienne

If you know someone that could get you a nice KL-03 engine to put in your car, take the money and swap.<P>You'll have more fun

Get some quotes for a rebuild, use them to get more money from the dealer, buy a KL-ZE, do a swap, drive off laughing!!

My dad's car eats oil, it's a 92 tercel(about a quart every 2 months), the macanic's told him it would cost 1500$ to fix the prob, my dad's reply was "I can buy alot of oil for 1500$" so he's just keeps a case of oil in the trunk...think of it that way. [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]
