Post by Jayrykes84 »

I cant remember who it was who mentioned it, but I heard someone on this forum here say something about some sort of homemade cold air intake... how do you do it? and is it worth the time and effort?

I don't remember who's site it's on, but I did mine with a little bit of PVC piping, 2 3" rubber connectors and a filter. Only thing I never figured out was by disconnecting the hose that runs from the intake, what it was affecting. Just make sure when you do the intake, you put the air flow sensor back on

I originally had PVC piping for my custom cold air intake, but went to a muffler shop and got them to mandrel bend a peice of piping for me. It keeps a lot cooler than the PVC piping and only cost me 20.00.
