i had this too, it was a coolant leak in my water pump<P>p.s. if you get that changed, get your timing belt checked while they're in there. It might save you some labor costs down the road

White smoke could also be burnin' oil. Bad rings, bad valve seals, etc. Usually burning coolant is a thin, whispy kinda almost steam. Is it SMOKE?

black smoke= fuel, burning too rich<BR>blue smoke= oil, many possibilities from valve covers to rings<BR>white smoke= water, head gasket or cracked block
