Re: J-spec Question
The KL was turbo'd in the 626MPS concept car. Twin turbo in fact, with the ZE manifold, but likely lowered compression for turboing.

I used to know alot about MX-3's, but not so much anymore. Oh well.

Re: J-spec Question
On the 626 Concept was the final horsepower with the twin turbo? and was it custom or is there a company that makes a turbo for the engine?

Skyline GTR [R34] dyno over 300 to the wheels, putting them more around 350 at the crank...rated at 280ps/276bhp

Re: J-spec Question
Most of the car that I have seen are never rated above the 280hp mark.
Honda NSX- 270 hp
R34 Skyline GTR - 280hp
Mazda RX-7(Gen 3&4)- 270hp
But with some upgrades these cars will gain alot of horespower. Usually requires intake, exhaust and sometimes program upgrades to get them up past the 300hp range.

Re: J-spec Question
If they go over a certain horsepower their insurance goes skyhigh...So, most cars stay right around 280..
