Would it be possible to drop one of these engines in an MX-3? The largest engine they have listed is a 2.2L, could they possibly even make a bigger one that we could fit in the MX-3? That would rock.
Thx.
------------------
Jesse Turner
aka AlphaBitz
MX-3 Dreamer
Kanata, Ontario, Canada

These engines come with no warranty though.I've seen bad engines come from dealers like these, its a risk.

1 this is corksport we are talking about, not mr Joe Blow Junkyard man. And no u cannot get that much hp without mods. For the 1.8l u need a diff tranny, ecu, axles, mounts, ect.
the 1.6l yyou can if u have a stick, but you have to cut your hood.
------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
barrykclark@hotmail.com

If you want power out of an mx3 . stick with mazda b/c u dont want to change the whole name of the car. and i would probly go with some engines that bolt right in like these:
KL-03:
Mazda 626 & MX-6 - 1993-97
Ford Probe GT - 1993-97
162 to 167hp @ 5600 to 6000 rpm (*), CR 9.2:1
(*) Varies from one model to another
KL-ZE is to be found ONLY in J-spec cars (ie. Right hand drive, Japan and Australia, maybe imports in UK)
Eunos 800 (Mazda 626 & MX-6) - 1998+, Only in Japan
Xedos 9 (Mazda 929 & Millenia)
200 hp @ 6500 rpm, CR 10:1
THE kl ze will probly cost ya like $2000 cnd.

jonny
