110 amp alternator

Post by curtklze »

Im not really into the stereo end of cars but, when I got my KL-ZE engine from japan it came with a 110 amp alternator. the markings on it are KL-47, which are also on the MAF sensor and a couple other places. I checked my manuals and the only northamerican
mazda with any thing close is the 95 rx-7 which is 100 amps. The stock k8 and klo3 engines come with 90 amp and the kl in the melenia has only 81 amps.
I put my old 90 amp on the KL-ZE engine because I didnt know if the 110 amp alt was any good after the trip from japan.
but I had it tested after the swap and it was putting out at least 100 amps under load.
Just wanted to let you know that there was a factory high amp alt out there.
The best place to find them would be the KL-ZE importers, some of them may take them off the engines befor they sell them to people like us. :D
DONT SHIP WITH UPS!!! DIE UPS DIE!!!!!
