Radio problems

Post by Manach »

Hi all.
ok, I got this prob now. My battery went dead on me. No more power was in the car, and the anti-theft program on my Radio start. I was a fool, and didn't note down the old code to "unlock" the radio. I can't go to a Mazda Dealer, which is 1 hour from where I live. So I was wondering, any of you had this kind of problems and fix it with the info on this link? http://www.mx-3.com/tech/audsys/
Or else, I'll change that radio, and put a CD player in it. It make me sad to see "Code" all the time I ride in my car.
Well, thanks for any help!

Well, Custom, have you use on of those methods?? Or may I lose my radio? I do not wish to remove now... I wish to keep for a while.
Maybe my question wasn't clear enough.
