Deck wires

is there a wire going to the deck that there is no current when the car is off and is on when the deck is on?<BR> <BR>cause i just got a amp and it has a fan it in and 1 wire has to hooked up to my deck like a 12 volt wire but then my fan is always on even when my car is off<BR>

The amp hookup should have 3 inputs plus RCA inputs. The 3 inputs are Power(+) Ground(-) and Remote. The Remote is the blue wire from the deck. If you don't have a blue deck wire, you can use the red wire that hooks up to the deck from the ignition. Hope it fixes your prob.<BR>~Ryan~
