Re: RHD conversion
Im guessing like half the front end of the car, everything would have to be torn out and replaced or altered. It would probably be cheaper to buy one and have it shipped

Re: RHD conversion
lucky star auto parts had 2 323 GTX front half cars, they were complete front halfs of the car.
They sold them for $4,000 each., so if you wanted to you could just ask a japanese auto parts importer to get you the front half of a mx-3.
you will need the steering rack, dash, heater vents, plus all the braks lines will be different because the master cylinder is on the other side as well as the clutch lines, all the wireing harness under the dash is different. so it would be easyer to get half a car so you can just swap everything over.
DONT SHIP WITH UPS!!! DIE UPS DIE!!!!!

Re: RHD conversion
A friend of mine has a RHD Subaru Impreza that he uses as his daily driver, and he has been driving it well over a year without a problem. In this case, he imported most of the parts from Japan, and assembled the car here. If any of you were at the Toronto Autoshow this past February, his was in Skydome, with the rest of the tuners. I think he has been pulled over a few times for loud exhaust, and different things, but the cops can't find anything wrong, so they let him go. I imagine that the laws in the states are similar to the ones here.
