I use fruityloops 3 to make tracks before i do any studio time. The customization is amazing, but i wish they had more sounds and samples.

I play most brass instruments mainly the trumpet, and I play some guitar and piano. I used to make my own music w/ Cooledit and Acid Pro 2&3. I dont much anymore though...
[ June 19, 2003: Message edited by: Custommx3 ]

Good post, I';m actually into writing and playing music more than I'am into hooking up cars (but dont get me wrong, I do love cars) I used to use Fruity Loopz and Acid Pro 4, its pretty good when your first starting out. I use Reason 2.0, Prologic Audio 6 for sequencing, Recycle for rhythm editing, have a Yamaha synth and just bought a Korg EA-1. NICE LITTLE BOX! All running into the computer. I wanna look into getting a CS2X or a Emu XK-6, god that keyboard is so hot, and I'm gonna probably look into protools, messed out with it at Guitar Center a while ago, pretty nice program. My friend is gonna sell me a Roland VS digi mixer for $300. I dont have to do any studio time, my room is a damn studio :p
[ June 19, 2003: Message edited by: Dephekt ]

haha thats awesome man, nice to see alot of people on here are into music. Ya once I get my computer rigged for games Im gonna get some music hardware, I know nothing about it so it'll be a learning experience, for now i just plug my guitar in the back of the comp which is very limited. I think what i need is a mixer so i can plug an amp through it so ill have all my effects. I can plug my wah and whammy pedal through but the sound quality sucks.

It'll be fun man, if you ever need any help or advice on gear to buy, you can ask me, I was reading up on that **** years before I even got into cars. I did a report on music synthesis in 10th grade, LOL, 4 years ago. But yeah man, you ever need help, hit me up.
