Crx Trouble

Post by MAZDASPEED STEVE »

My buddy at work has a CRX stuck in his garage, the rear brake drums seized. How does one move the car now? What will he have to do to unseize them, replace them?

You could take the tires off the car. Then take the brake line lose from the back of the brake cylinder. Procede with beating the drum loose with a hammer. It worked for me. You'll probally need ro rebuild the cylinders or buy new ones if they're seized....Might wanna replace the spraings and have the drums turned aswell....oh yea dont forget to bleed the brakes, they're helpful. :o <P>Good luck

well, if you need it out of the garage you basically need to just get the drums off. then pop it in neutral and roll it but watchout you'll have no brakes and if u step on the pedal you'll blow the cylinders out and shoot brake fluid everywhere.
