660 STORY TIME!!!
Two or three years ago (when i still had the SOHC) the local 1/8th mile track had an import day. all the guys in the car club i was in decided to go just to see what the cars would do.
anyway, towards the end of the day they stopped the open session and started some bracket racing. I happened to get paired up with a CRX Si with at least Intake and exhaust. I launched at like 4k (stupid worn out stock clutch and 17's= no spinning) and got him by a car out of the whole. By the traps however he was up to my front fender but it didnt matter because i had won! i ran like an 11.2 or so i dont really remember. anyway i was overjoyed but got crushed in the next round by a neon with a stratus motor swap (or so he said).
My mods at the time: conical filter, S-AFC, Jacobs ice pak and a muffler. Booyah!
So case in point, against a 1.5l i would say you should have the upper hand.

Stock Auto RS from 92, only have an intake..

Manual drive CRX with: Exhaust, msd ignition, intake, hotwires from Nology, prolly a couple other things.
Lowered, body kit, wheels.

I lost the first time, I wasted him the 2 times after that.
OH, I also beat his red 2000 celica... both times...
I don't know if hes doing something wrong, or if his engine really is that bad. Its the standard version of the celica. 1.5 or 1.6 liter engine... Variable Valve Timing.

I hope that im misread here, but you say you have a bonestock auto rs and you beat a manual 1.5 crx? I doubt that. Either the other guy can't drive or he let you win after beating you already the first time.

no he is asking who would win....

since he has any auto instead of manual the crx will win unless he stalls out or something...

... i ran against a focus zx3 with intake / exhuast / larger bored tb (had aprox. 160 and beat him in the 1/4 ... he wasn't a good driver... i barely beat him though cause of that fact that he had about 50 more hp than me

I was actually quoting/replying to manowar821 comment and not to m92_MX3 who originally started the thread.

i'm pretty sure the mx3 would take him.. if it was a stick. automatics tend to have crappy launches, and not shift when you want them to. so.. i'm gonna put my money on the crx, sorry. they're just lighter and the difference in tranny will determine the outcome of the race.

yeah you should stomp him, a coulpe of years ago, i took down my friends 91 CRX with CAI and full exuast with a fully stock SOHC Automatic Nissan Pulsar, of course his CRX was kind of ragged out and smokin abit.
92 MX-3 1.8L DOHC BP, 17" Konig wheels, 2.5 exuast, custom CAI, inverted style carbon fiber hood, GT-Combat body kit.
