My car radio works perfectly when the engine is not running, however when I start car sound from radio disappears,if I push in cigarette lighter it comes on again,if I keep my finger on electric window button once it has closed, radio sound comes on.I have checked the earth,I have checket for voltage surge, and generally examined the wiring with no luck, some days it will work with engine running but mostly it will not.Any advise would be welcome. My stereo is a Clarion.

Re: MX3 radio problem
It sounds like a fuse that is almost blown.. I had a problem with my stereo and it turned out to be a fuse in the engine compartment that was blown, but still allowed a current if it was high enough (Using the powerwindow and the sunroof at the same time ect).
You might wanna check the fuses again.
