Ya you need to clarify plz but from what small parts I understood it sounds pretty bad. your car wont rev over 3500 rpms and its smoking? sounds internal.

Sounds like a very stuck injector or 2, especially with raw fuel from the exhaust. Check all the sensors starting with the MAF and throttle position. Check your fuel pressure, if it won't build you have injectors that won't close. May be some $hit in them, you may have also crossed your fuel return line eith a vacuum line and are feeding raw unvapouriized fuel into your intake. To check this pull some spark plugs and motor it over. If fuel spills out if the spark plug holes, that's it. Sounds like way too much fuel to be a big problem, but if you run the car like that, you will burn your pistons and cylinders. Check to see if there is gas in the oil too. That will tell you to look for something simple. Don't worry...yet. :)

I told him to check his VAF first. Same thing happened to me before and I had to replace my VAF.
The injectors could be the problem, something I didn't consider before. But I've had my FPR turned up to it's max before while idling at 800, it only raises the rpms a few hundred.

Track all the vacuum lines and your fuel return line next. Especially the ones to the vapour canister. Is there gas in the oil? If so change it right away.
[ March 20, 2003: Message edited by: laboiler ]
