i agree with u kev, the new 6 is a sic car, and i do think it may be an accord killer, with its nice overall styling, cuz im not really liking the 4 dr accord. but i dont think it can even touch the impreza man, common man "the bueaty of all wheel drive", nice torque, and npthing like it out there , but i do liek the last generation look of the impreza over the new one

I'm liking the new mazda 6, I agree with it rivaling the new accord, probably the nissan SE-R spec V too.

the new mazda6 can DEFINITELY compete with the 175hp nissan se-r vspec. my best friend's sis owns one and they're pretty fast....but against 220hp?

I think it would kill the SE-R, I saw one run here at SIR and it barely made the high 15's just once out of 3 runs, they blew the motor, my friend worked at the dealer at the time, and they took it there brand new to see what it would do and didn't check the fluids and the factory fluids were low, so basically it ran a high 15 with almost no oil. Yowzers, sucks for them, but pretty impressive.

dont get me wrong i like the body but i think its slow!!! the soon to be srt-4 will whoop it second fastest car dodge makes besides the viper (0-60 wise) srt-4 is 100lbs less qith 215hp and come on man 192 torque whats that!the mazda 6 power is high up 220hp@6300 vs. 215hp@5300 245t@3200 vs.192t@5000 those numbers are too high! srt-4 got a turbo 2.4 liter16v where as the "6" is a n/a motor i think the "6" is garbage

since when do the 6 and a neon sit in the same market? Compare it to the maxima, v6 accord, solara, etc. All of those vehicles have better numbers... but as proven by the mp3 the power numbers dont measure the overall fun of a vehicle. If you're lookin for somethin fast you're in the wrong market and you should just stick with the flyin piece of doo doo dodge calls the srt-4

don't hate on the new neon, sht given the chance id drive one of them. im not about "staying with one company". if i think the car is cool to hell what you guy think, id have fun tearin up the streets. better than walkin my hot *** around FL
