Reverse lights stuck on.

Post by Coady »

When probs hit, they seem to come one after another. My reverse lights remain on. I think that the switch on the shifter(Manual) may be stuck. Any suggestions or other ideas?

Check out the switch. I had an odd thing happen to mine. I installed a new clutch, among other things, and when I got it back together, the oddest change had happened. No reverse, I had only forward gears, and the reverse lights came on in fifth gear. This was caused by misplacing the seal/washer on the switch. There could be some damage to the switch or wiring that is shorting it.
If not broke - don't fix, modify. If broke - fix it right, and make it better.
