New to COLD climates

Post by Coady »

I recently moved to Northern AB Canada. And right now we are hitting -30. Both my car and myself are new to these temperatures. I had a look but i could not find a block heater. Do anyone know if the 1995 4cyl came standard with a block heater? I am also having a bit of a problem locating the Thermostat. I can talk the talk but i can't walk the walk, so I want to start doing the little things myself. Any suggestions?

Check the online shop manual on this site for directions on replacing/adding parts to the car.

I do believe I have an extra block heater lying around here somewhere, but i think Canadian Tire also sells them.

The thermostat is right by the distributor
