Ok,

So I found a couple Escort GT's (91 and 95). In alright shape and I was told I can take what I need (owner is a friend)

What I was wonder is I have a 94 RS and I plan to do a BPT swap this winter.

Ok first off
the tranny out of the escort should fit the BPT as it's a bp tranny. I need to take this as I currently have an auto and well thats has to go let's be honest. So I should be able to take tranny, pedals and the linkage correct?

Now to do the rear disc swap .. I will need (please add anything I missed)
from front to back : Front line's from cylinder to brake hoses, master cylinder, brake booster, e-brake cables, rear hoses (from brake line to caliper), rear spindles, rear calipers, rear discs

another question, I know my stock ecu and wiring harness are crap for this setup.

I plan to get the ecu from a gtx and well for wiring harness, for now I will probably go to a 93 RS that is until I can afford standalone. I am not big into racing I just want more powerful and show for shows.

So do you think this setup will work for time being ..

any information would be great I am trying to learn as much as I can before I start.

take the bp motor from the egt, and slap a turbo on it. swap the harness/ecu as well.
