Firing order....

Post by Kamikid »

Hey guys, I just took out all my spark plug wires to put new ones on. Only thing I forgot was where they go again.

Does anyone know the correct order to put them back on?

Thanks,

In most I4 engines, cylinder no.1 is on the left when looking at the car from the front. Put that clinder at TDC by any method you like and the distributor rotor will be pointing at the no.1 plug wire lead. the firing order is 1-3-4-2. The rotor rotates CCW unless i am a total moron, which might be, so put the cap on, attach the leads in the correct order, check the timing and you're off.
