The guys I have talked to say they see a increase in idle smothness but in a day or so all the gains seem to go away. The plug that seems to work the best in mx's is the recomended standard NGK plug. platnum an ridium plugs just last longer.I like to change plugs every year so it doesnt make sence to use them.

i use Iridium Plugs from Ngk...they have a more positive power point to one area which gives it a more powerful spark..They worked for me and I saw a difference...I have been through several sets of ngk platinums and four prong but the Iridiums outlasted and out performed the rest...So I reccomend the Iridiums...Thats whats in my K8

P.S they cost Like 8 Bucks a plug though...at least where i live

Platinums/iridiums give you no additional gains, just last longer

ok...Lets take something thats easy for you to understand....Like Tig Welding....You use a tip thats Filed to sharp point,of course you have acheived a more finese weld, you have more positive energy flowing through the tip of the Rod which enables the Gas to ignite much better...UNDERSTAND

as for the iridiums the tip is very fine which energy is allowed to concentrate more in a specific area rather than spread out....But knowledge is power and thats my opinion so srry if I were a lil to harsh...by no means do I like being a ****...Mx-3.com has come a long way and Is by far the best site on the net

I work for an auto parts store and have for some time. We work closely with the Mazda dealership and they recommend NGK. They are now using them almost exclusively off the lot. The Bosch platinum 4's wont give you any extra gains. The Bosch 4's are mainly for german cars. Hope the info helped everyone.
