either your alt belt or your pwr steering/ac belt. chances are, it's the alt belt. both can be tightened. just make sure not to overtighten.

in most cases tightening isnt the answer for the mx....lots of people have this problem with their mx...i tightened my belts for months and it kept coming back...i got a new alt and a new belt...still came back...the next thing i got to try is either replacing the pulley on the water pump or the whole water pump...thats what my mechanic said...because the puley is wobbling

You probably have bent pulley's. Does it do it anytime other than when you start your car?
