idling problem on 1.6dohc

Post by tommygunzit »

my 96 4cyl w/ auto is acting up every so often. It only happens sometimes. When i come up to stop at a red light and stop, sometimes the engine almost wants to stall out. It goes to normal idle and dips down for a second then goes back up again. It will happen one light and then not the next. If i put it in neutral or park it won't do it at all. Does anybody know if this is bad plugs, air restriction, fuel filter or someother symptom of something bad coming? any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Drive it like it's stolen, cuz it's so funny watching the cops creep up on ya real slow if ya stop, lol.
