HELP!!! Car Trouble!

Started the car this morning and it worked perfectly fine. Drove it around at lunch. Then when i was going to leave school i started it up and everything seemed fine. I was pullin out and i heard a loud knock and the car kicked a bit i thought someone rear ended me but no one was close. Then the entire way home the car was jerkin around. There were loud knocking noises while the car jerked and the steering became extremely sloppy. On turns the knocking seemed more frequent. This is my daily car and i need it asap. So any help on this matter would be much apreciated.

I may be way off on this one but mine did the same thing until I replace the tranny. It would make a "thump" about every 2 sec as I was driving along except when I went around a corner then it would do it continuously.

wow... god i hope ur wrong heh. i was thinkin along the line of the struts. cause its knock. or the bearings... hope it aint tranny.
