I4 MX3 Solid Urethane Motor Mounts

Post by nolanspawn »

I have gotten solid urethane mounts made for the Probe/Mx6's and now I am curious the interest in the Mx-3 crowd's. Here is a picture of how the Probe ones turned out.

If you guys are intersted in these kinds of mounts let me know. They arent just inserts they are full replacements w/ urethane cores. They are made from much stronger than stock material and are gold cadmium plated to prevent rusting and give them a flashy look. If someone would post pics for me of stock I4 Mx3 mounts I would appreciate it.

i filled my stock mounts with poly urethane and the rear one is shot after my b6t swap. so basically i'm more interested in a solid mount for the rear...
the pass. side, drivers side, and front are still fine.

I learned from experience that filling your mounts doesnt always last. The kind of polyurethanes most people fill theirs with cant take the constant abuse and they eventually wear out. This kind of urethane that is made with these mounts is a very durible kind, its made to take abuse. Plus regular urethane is stronger than a polyurethane.

well like i said i would be more than happy aquiring a rear mount if you think it can do the job. as you can see, it's pretty much the weakest link after doing a swap or going fi...

the passenger side mount is the only one on the motor. the rest(front rear drivers) are all tranny mounts.

Sorry I havent updated anyone. **** has been crazy and its been hard to get on the ball with a few projects.

First person to send me a set of I4 MTX Tranny mounts will get a set of solid mounts (wholesale cost) once they are made. Thats the only offer I can extend becuase I dont produce them myself I just work with a company on the designs and they make them.
