TPS Output Voltage Lead wire

Post by Gkreator »

I'm trying to install my Zex kit, but I'm not sure where my Throttle Position Sensor Output Voltage Lead Wire is. I looked in my Chilton's with a friend and we are guessing it's the Blue Wire with the Black stripe that's on the top of the Throttle wire outputs.

Also where should I be looking under the dash to find a 12 volt accessory wire? Any help appreciated.

the tps should have 4 wires coming from it (if it's a V6 anyway)
tap the 2nd wire from the top.
not sure of the colours cuz I don't have my car anymore but that's the one.

My friend Ashley was able to inform me it's the Blue with white stripe for the output voltage lead. I have the 4 cyl.

Now I just need to find a 12 volt wire under the dash.
