well it seems like I won't hear about the bpt or b6t anylonger because of cuts in founds (wife)so I must settle for cheaper engine to fit my 92 SOHC.
I'm doing some heavy thinking about the KF-ZE. On the corksport.com they claim this engine has 170hp which is little hard to believe. I've never looked into the protege engines... so is that true? or it has 130hp and they're just f* with my mind?

FS wont fit on your tranny. Thats a probe SE or MX-6 4cl.
[ August 09, 2003: Message edited by: Custommx3 ]

what if I swap the tranny,,,, or you're saying that it's pretty much impossible to fit it or too expensive?

Considering the height of the FS you will run into issues with clearance. Why not just get a standard BP and go from there?

exacatlly what i would suggest.. The fsze is like the klze.. uunless your running higher than pump octane with a proper ecu your not gonna get the full power out of the motor. There considered a pain in the butt.. a BPD will run you cheaper and be a good place to go for a turbo buildup.

I agree with them. Stick with the BPD. Dont bother going through the problems with the clearance. Get the BPD which is a pretty good fit and it will set you up realnice for a turbo later on.
