MAF

I was a morron and pulled my MAF out, i went to put it back in and the clips go on fine but i start my car and it doesnt idel and burns oil witch it never did. It sat in my drive way for the last week and today i decided to work on it i pulled it out again and on 2 of the 3 little prongs theres sider connecting them so i broke it no biggy nut then i pulled my intake off and i looked inside and there are too little metal peaces standing up on the inside is that prong suposted to be sidered onto it?? or is it just surounded by it?? how do i fix my car... do i need a whole new maf system or just the senser?? <p>and one more thing HOW IN THE HELL DOES THE DUMB SENSER COME OFF BY CLIPS <p>thanks for the help get back to me asap thanks tons

You will need a new MAF, just an FYI they arent cheap.

before you go buy a new one try resoldering that one... I did the same thing when I was putting on my intake and I re soldered it and sealed it back up and it works perfect. Its worth a try anyway...

i don't think the rx7 maf will fit the 94+ dohc wiring harness.

The rx-7 has a VAF doesnt it? I was told to use a 2nd gen RX-7 VAF with my BPT. Do i have to do that or can I rig up the MAF from the mx-3. Sorry im braking away from the topic but while you guys are in the state of mind.

ummm easy i have it..... i live in USA my friend owned a 93 sohc that he just crashed and got tottaled out before i could rip out his maf

The single cam came from 92-93 in the usa
the dual cam came from 94 and up. They are different sensors.
