Just wanted to tell everyone I did what you all say is imposible, BP engine into a 95 RS which use to have a 1.6, I did it with stock tranny, stock ecu, and stock flywheel/clutch. It can be done
Given how easy it was I could only assume it has been, but all the posts I read on what you need, you always see need tranny from a proto lx, need ecu... I'm not as impressed by this engine though. I had a turbo 1.6L dohc but first I melted a piston, then the oil pump went out- new crank needed, replaced that and it spun a bearing. I just wanted the car to run, the BP was just sitting in my garage...
Which harness did you use?
Well, I'm doing the same thing you did..
Building myself a B6-ZET, and made a deposit on a Protege GT 90 engine..

they say to go with the protege tranny be naemly because the b6 tranny doesnt last to long unnder abuse.. and the proteges is a bit more stout... other than though though it can be done.
Adam here in Quebec use the 1.6l transmission in his 323gtx pre89 and his running 356whp on that little tranny. For information about his car go on montrealracing forum and look for turbo323 or 323turbo his the one i'm talking about.
