yeah, you are right, now that I look at it. He claims 350hp, with what turbo? how many miles? He just ripped that pic off of the Cork Sport web site instead of actually taking a picture of the engine. Good call, Manach, hope nobody buys it!

Hey guys I emailed the person selling the engine and asked him some questions about the engine and here was his response.<p>"The reason for the pic from corksport.com is b/c the engine is @ a
shipping
yard waiting to be shipped. there are no miles on the engine b/c it's
brand
new. No it does not come with a tranny b/c the stock tranny in ur car
will
bolt right on. the turbo on the other hand is a little more complecated
you
will need a new ecm or a re-programmed ecm. you will also need a new
exhaust
system b/c of the turbo. as to what kind of turbo it I don't know the
exact
model but it's made by an australian branch of vortech so basically
it's a

good info, man. I don't know though, I'm still a little suspicious. I've never heard of Vortech making turbos, only superchargers but I could be wrong. I thought Mazda stopped making the BPT engine a few years ago when they stopped making GTRs, it would be very unususal to find a brand new engine with 0 miles unless it just happened to be sitting in a wearhouse somewhere, espcially one that didn't have the stock turbo. It would be a screamin deal if it was for real but it sounds too good to be true to me. I would be very careful and demand to see compression test and flow thru results and even then only pay with COD.

at least if it comes with the AWD tranny, you can trade or sell it in order to get the Pro LX tranny u need........

Only engine from the Dealer can be at 0kms, or someone who bought it from a dealer..<p>Anyway.. ask for the REAL picture. I had everything goig smooth with EngineLand. I receive some pictures of the engine.. and good was it mess up..<p>Well, hope someone dont be in a bad position when buying that engine.. that is suppose to be around 3000$US by Importer.. (GTR? .. oh god..)
