ok i have a 93 4banger. my check engine light is on and i dont want to pay to have it checked out by a "pro" if u can help me with it. ok this is whats goin on the light will come on and stay on but it will flicker and when it starts doin that every time it goes off it feels like someone is tappin the brakes or the car is stallin type of thing. lately the light has just been stayin on but i dont know. i dont want to cause more damage to it so if u can help or have had this prob please hit me back
i shall drop and rx-7 twin turbo in my 93 4 banger

check your vaccuum lines and make sure they are all plugged in.

take the car up to your local AutoZone. they'll check the codes for free. otherwise under the hood, driver side by the fire wall is your diagnosic port, use a paper clip and connectthe gnd and the ten pins, count the flashes, long then quick for two digit codes only quick for single diget codes, post them and we can tell you what it means

i would say check your mass air or your 02 sensor is bad. i know when my safc wire came loose the check engine light came on and my car studderd real bad.
