custom value covers and intake manifold

Post by shibbyswap »

i have a unused since i powder coated it, a k8 series valve cover set and intake manifold with a cameleon color scheme to it. the powder retails for $70 usd an ounce and it takes about 39 ounces to complete the process so its not cheap i am a powder coater myself so i just used it for my price. ( note the powder color hasd been discontinued for 2 years now and is extremely hard to find) make an offer or even swap me your old covers and manifold plus shipping and a few extra bux i have gaskets for 50 bux extra

$70 a ounce , I personally find that hard to believe.. I can get a pound of exotic colors for that price , And you used 39ounces of powder ? thats nearly 2 1/2 pounds of powder 1 pound can do 50 square feet if used properly , Did you mess up or something , not to take away from your sale or anything but this just doesnt sound right ?

I would love to see a pic of these however.

BTW- There are companys that will mix you custom colors. So they could match that .

Liar .. Powder will not stick if you have 40 coats on it , Guys i personally donot trust this guys , Warning to everyone this sounds way too fishy until I see pics you are on my blaclist.

I personally know there is no way that he has 40 coats after 4 it is hard to stick also it would probraly be over 1/4 inch thick at this point and would come out hideous . do the math 8 different colors 5 coats of each = 40 coats , even if they werent layered this just seems out of proportion.

Someone please see if this guy is legit I Don't want to see anyone get hosed. :(

And thanks for the Vulgar comment , grow up.
