I all confused about resonator, please help me!

Since my exhaust is too loud, I need to find a way to lower my exhaust system noise so I went back to the place where they made it and they said that a resonator wouldn't help. Then I went to a speed shop and the guy showed me a high flow resonator and told me this would reduce noise by a little less than 50% without slowing the air flow. Who should I believe? I don't wanna get pulled over again. And I'm starting to get tired of "too loud".

Yes it will make it quiter it and even make it sound less raspy

personally i've never heard of a high flow resonator but if you're running an aftermarket exhaust and want to quiet it get a silencer. You just have to know the output diameter for your muffler and install it in your exhaust tip.

But should I pay 150 CDN$ + installation for this res or is there any other way to get a good res (used or new)?

ooopps! I made a mistake, the res I was talking about is a small straight through design muffler without tip (it's like 8" long). The guy told me that some people install this as a resonator when they want performance without a very loud sound, like me. What do you think?

That will dull the volume $30 at canadian tire "cherry bomb" cut the middle just behind where your shifter is clamp it in and you done $40 max

i had tzudo mufler in my car and it was too loud i took it out and changed .i dont know how to make it less loud.do i need a biger resonator.

yah 4 a high flow resonator just put in one of those cheap straight thru glass packs. ex. Cherry Bomb, Purple Horney, Etc. s--- the Hot Rod and Truck guys use
