Has anyone used Splitfire plugs before?

Post by mxcess »

I just recently put in some Splitfire plugs in my '92 rs and it seems to have more of the dreaded "low end stumble" that is associated with our cars. I thought maybe it was the wires after I installed the plugs since I yanked the guts out of two of the plug boots, but since then I have replaced the wires and no improvement. New rotor and cap BTW. Anyone else have this experience? I think I had the Bosch Platinums in before and the stumble wasn't as bad. Thanks for the responses in advance.<BR>BTW- The Splitfires are a bi**h to gap!!!

Splitfire plugs suck. Every mechanic i know has told me this. Watch out for the bosch 4+, autozone sold me some that had the wrong specs TWICE.
