How do I stop the beeping? What is it?
Everytime I open my car door (passenger or driver) the thing starts beeping at me! Beep, beep, beep!! Kinda like on some cars when you leave the lights on or leave the key in the ignition... but the lights are not on, nor are the keys in the ignition.<P>Any suggestions to what is causing this beeping?<P>My other alternative is to find the box that is beeping and cut the wires... but I don't really want to resort to that.<P>Thanks...

Something definitely a miss here that beeping sound should only be heard in the cases that you stated IE: lights left on or keys in the ignition, a mate of mine had the same problem some time ago, it turned out that he had his stereo hooked up so it was live all the time by bypassing the ignition switch, once the stereo was wired to the ignition the sound was no more. <BR>Hope this helps you out.<P>TAZ1

Find the speaker and cut the wires. Problem solved; FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!
