The new projectors all installed

What a mess... So I tapped the vertical leds into my turn signals for a nice touch. Im still a bit sad about the halos (theyre not too bright at all :( ) Also I traced down teh relays and figured them out finally. The red leads will keep the low beams on when You hit the highs if you wire them in, which I plan on doing once I finish dialing in the lowbeams and eliminating/tucking some harness.

So hopefully come monday Ill have some new pics and a cleaner install not to mention a carbon hood if it works out for the 5th time? Oh and hopefully a splash guard/center tray from trollis on its way as well!

Good to see some pics. Those lights do come with a mess of wires. Have fun trying to make it look neat in your bay
Hope you get that hood. It would set the car off very well.

Yea a mess is right, so far Ive managed to get some conduit stretched under the air dam over the radiator to make it clean, but i still want to shorten those harnesess up. Atleast thats the plan for monday if hte weather holds out. ALso im looking into this funny issue where the LH low beam drops intensity after the highbeams are clicked now that I joined up the relays to the battery. Hopefully its just a loose ground in one of the harnesses.

Hmmm.... I never got that far as I only "plugged" them in. Your welcome to come over if you want some help on it. We could pull it in the garage, that way you can work on in regardless of the weather.

So I didnt get around to cleaning up my wiring as planned however I did do a little modifiying thanks to the father -in-law drilling service

Image

We had to tap in to get the hood pins on as it didnt sit safely, Im still planing on weatherstriping the front to seal the air out and clean it up around the headlights. But other than that what'cha think?

man there are a lot of wires for the projectors >_<

but I thought it was pretty much plug-and-play in terms of the actual headilghts? Like I thought the only wiring needing done was for the halos and led's? Which, wouldn't that make only 4 additional wires?

The headlamps are plug and play, unless you hook up that red lead with the fuse&relay attached to the battery. Then your lowbeams will stay on when you hit the highs. And each halo had its own harness as well as the triple leds. So I pretty much need to pull em back out and shorten the harnesses up and put some conduit over it all so it looks better.
